To Shave or not to shave?
I never used to shave but just over a year ago I started to shave again, armpits and legs. It was something I chose to do. But now I’m fed up with it and have stopped it again. Shazia Mirza has made it her New Years Resolution to Not shave. Nice one Shazia.
Like most women, Shazia has dedicated a significant part of her adult life to hair removal.
"I have done everything to remove my hair. I have waxed, shaved, used my dad’s lawnmower. It has taken so much time, so much effort, so many red blotches," says the 32-year-old comedian.
All that stopped at the start of January, as Shazia took a New Year’s resolution to shave no more. The evidence is already starting to show.
Hairy legs this summer I think.

I shave, I feel uncomfortable if I don’t - I prefer to think that it isn’t due to some sort of social conditioning, after all, I was hardly the teenage Barbie doll…
I think it’s down to personal preference and what a person feels comfortable with.

i shave if its going to be seen. So during the winter I usually don’t do legs & do armpits when i remember. In summer I do legs more. I agree with the social conditioning thing as its more about what others think. I don’t do bikini line (have a swim suit with shorts style bottoms) and don’t do eyebrows etc. I’m quite a hairy person so if I tried to be hairless it’d be like painting the Forth Bridge!

I shave…,my face, But I am sure that’s not what you women were talking about lol. My wife shaves most times, sometimes she doesn’t. I have a sister who NEVER shaves. Just thought I’d chime in
