Although, Corvid, I do disagree with you in that this won’t stop anyone being raped, but it does look like it collects physical evidence if you are. However there are so many products playing on women’s imposed insecurities that I can see your point. It implies that you WILL be raped and you may as well give in and use this to collect some evidence.
If you are out on a date you can either insert the device before going out, or if during the date you are uncomfortable about your date partner, excuse yourself to the bathroom and insert the device. For the first time there is now incriminating evidence, it will no longer be your word against his!
So, you can be raped now and this little beauty will save evidence for you so you can report him later. Excellent.
Oh apart from the actual getting raped part, and the having to relive it over and over with very little chance of conviction even with evidence.

Of course, happens all the time right? 
Women are just out to get you…. Seriously, there is always the possibility in a tiny number of cases but surely the advantages of having evidence for better levels of prosecution and conviction are there too? Oh, assuming you can get someone to listen in the first place….. There being way too few Rape Crisis centres….
